My Books

I’ve grown up living in the pages between books where unfolding stories fuel my imagination. I believe that one can learn more about life through reading the stories and experience of others. Thus, my dream to be a novelist is woven with my passion to be an engaging storyteller. I aim to be a published novelist where I can write stories to be shared with the world. My dream came true in 2010 when my debut novel entitled, Eksperimen Cinta, hit the local bookshelves in Malaysia. From then forth, I am determine to publish more stories to be shared with my readers.

SERANGKAI HIDUP was inspired by my 10-day Writer’s Grantual to London in 2013 where I met Awang Goneng and Zaharah Othman – two iconic journalists/writers who have taught me much about the writing journey. In this book, readers will discover how eight individuals from different walks of life are somehow intertwined through one common ground: DREAMS. Whether you are male or female, old or young, rich or poor – you’ll definitely be able to associate with at least one of the characters or more in this simple story of dreams. I hope the story would inspire you to strive towards your dreams in life.

Book Title: Mangsa
Genre: Thriller Crime
Language: Malay
Published By: FiXi
Publishing Date: November 2012
Market Price: RM 17.90
Available At: MPH Bookstores, Kinokuniya Bookstores and FiXi Website.

MANGSA was first written as a standalone story that highlights one question: What happens when your loved ones vanish into thin air one day? However, as I wrote along, the story developed further based on the nature of the story, thus cameo appearance of characters from my previous novel (NGERI) were included. This turned MANGSA into the continuation of NGERI. The core story theme remains: People go missing, their loved ones go searching – who is the victim at the end of the day?

Note: A definite spoiler if you haven’t read Ngeri prior to this novel, yet Mangsa is readable as a standalone.
